A night of gin-tasting, cocktails and pride is taking place in Dundee

A unique event in Dundee this week will combine gin, cocktails and pride all in one.
Fife-based Eden Mill will be in town on Friday for a special tasting event at the Apex Hotel, which will raise both money and awareness for a major city event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

Those attending the Apex tasting event will be shown how to make incredible drinks creations using Eden Mill Love Gin liqueurs.
Staff from the gin distillery will also take attendees through three “exciting” cocktails.
Eden Mill brand ambassador Steve Lowrie McKay said: “The Dundee Pride group are making the event unique to other Pride events in our country by not charging.
“This makes the whole event accessible to everyone who wants to take part in raising awareness of LGBTQ issues and celebrating our communities acceptance, diversity, inclusive and respectful attitude to our fellow citizens.

“However, the group still needs money to organise this and this is why we at Eden Mill and Apex Hotels are extremely excited to be able to help support Pride Dundee by offering our services and expertise to host an evening of gin, naughty nibbles, and fun games with prizes. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Pride Dundee.”
Dundee Pride will take place in Slessor Gardens, which will be transformed into a village of eclectic food vendors, charity stalls, fabulous market offerings, live entertainment, and lots more.
A parade route throughout the city centre will also take place.
The Apex gin event starts at 7pm and costs £15 per person.
