Dundee city centre has an edible garden — and you can eat for free!

This agricultural project proves Dundee’s favourable growing conditions.

Pick herbs and pluck fruit to pop into your lunch at Dundee’s very own Edible Garden in Slessor Gardens down by the waterfront.

There are Scottish Heritage apple trees, strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and herbs galore and they’re all free for you to enjoy.

The garden was planted by Dundee Urban Orchard, an art and horticulture project with 25 sites across the city.

Other sites include Camperdown Park and Dundee Science Centre.

Address: Slessor Gardens, Dundee, DD1 1AR
