Good atmosphere and range of drinks at Dundee bar Tonic

If you’re looking for a place with a good atmosphere to cure the day’s ills, then Tonic is the place for you.
Situated not far up the Nethergate from the city centre, Tonic hits the spot as a modern bar with a whole range of drinks on offer from pints and halfs to wine, cocktails and beyond.
Bright and airy with nice big windows allowing you to watch the world go by, even on a quiet midweek night there’s still a pleasant atmosphere around the place.
Whether you grab one of the high seats along the window or jump into the leather-covered booth-style tables in the corner, it’s a calm place on a quiet night and buzzing with activity at the weekend.
There is also a weekly pub quiz on a Sunday, coffee and breakfast served in the mornings and tables out front to enjoy the sun.
A little on the pricey side for drinks compared to some nearby pubs (a pint of Guinness is £4.50, Heineken is £4.60), that wee bit extra is worth it to have somewhere fairly quiet but still having a friendly atmosphere to enjoy your night.
