These photos from the 2018 Dundee Flower and Food Festival will make you wish it happened every weekend


Thousands of people celebrated the Dundee Flower and Food Festival’s 30th year at Camperdown Park at the weekend.


Fun for all ages

Plant-lovers, growers, foodies and children had a blast at the annual three-day event, which showcased horticultural highlights and some of the best grub around.

TV stars and celebrity chefs

Big names including TV host, farmer and former JLS star JB Gill, the One Show’s Christie Walkden, and Masterchef: The Professionals star Gary Maclean attended the event.

As well as showing off flowers and food, the festival also featured live entertainment, cookery and gardening demonstrations, competitions, family fun and a craft fair.

Cooking up a storm

Demonstrations from some of the region’s top chefs, including Matthew Hebdon of Tailend and Jamie Scott of the Newport Hotel, went down well.


Cultural highlights

Camperdown House also opened its doors to visitors at this year’s festival for a cultural expo showcasing some of Dundee’s highlights.
