Orla Kiely is an OBE designer based in London, who began her now illustrious career in designing vibrant hats and handbags before moving on to design an eclectic mix of other items.

Today, Orla is a renowned designer with a recognisably colourful and ‘happiness inducing’ brand.

She is also a two time winner of ‘Irish Tatler Woman of the Year’ at the UK Fashion Export Awards.

Orla brought her creative vision to life by launching her business in 1995, which follows the simple philosophy that her graphic style can bring joy to many.

TONIGHT – Orla will be visiting the V&A Dundee to tell the fascinating story behind her powerful design patterns, sharing with guests the highs and lows of her career so far.
