Dundee Rep Theatre: Take in a performance at one of Scotland’s cultural hotspots

First opened in 1939, Dundee Rep Theatre is one of the most well-known and respected theatres in the UK.

Home to countless creative ventures, educational programmes and award-winning productions, it’s always worth checking out what’s on here when visiting the city.

Dundee Rep is also the joint company of both the Dundee Rep Ensemble (a permanent acting ensemble) and the Scottish Dance Theatre.

These creative forces work together to perform high quality performances, demonstrating the unique nature of Dundee Rep’s structure.

Events

The theatre also hosts a large series of events throughout the year.

From workshops, to masterclasses, to introductions with directors, and more – click here to see which ones you fancy.

Red Stripped festival

The theatre’s latest festival, Red Stripped, is taking place over the course of 10 days this April.

Red Stripped gives local and national artists the opportunity to test out their ideas in a raw acting environment.
