Our friends from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to watch The Open and compete in the Junior Ryder Cup Challenge.
The 147th Open at Carnoustie Golf Links was record-breaking for the tens of thousands of spectators who made their way to the course.
Golf fans were treated to a fantastic tournament as sporting greats walked the local greens.

Fans were eager to see the golfing legend return to the biggest stage of them all following injury.

Another huge star and tournament favourite – Rory McIlroy
In the mix of golfing greats at this year’s Open was tournament favourite Rory McIlroy – who played some great golf despite falling just short in the end.
Things get intense as Rory McIlroy lines up his putt on the 18th green, at the final day.
Players were forced to adjust to the adverse playing conditions on Friday.

Congratulations to Sam Locke of Stonehaven who won the silver medal and was the only amateur finisher at the Open.
Soon after this terriffic achievement, which put him on the same list as previous winners McIlroy and Woods, 19-year old Locke announced his turn to professional golf.

The course welcomed its largest number of spectators
The weather took a turn for the worse on Friday but fans were still out in a droves to watch, armed with raincoats and umbrellas.
Dressed for the occassion – fans from Gallway, Ireland who were over for the weekends golf.
